[...]Hello Michal and hello Alexandre, I've just tested the new lazygal version (Debian package version 0.8-1) and the new default template seems to work as intended. It even seems to center the images, as I wanted it to do (if you remember, my bug report [1] was initially caused by me attempting to customize the default theme so that images were horizontally centered in their respective web pages!).
