So the package is almost ready, and available in the git repo here: git://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/charybdis.git
I had to backport the patch that was applied upstream to make sure we
still have gnutls support, since upstream can't make an OpenSSL license
exception (see #705369 for details).
So basically, this is pretty much ready to go. I've only done
preliminary tests on the package, but since it fixes bugs that are
threatening its removal from jessie, i'll upload it as is and figure out
the rest later.
