Package: bash-doc
Version: 4.2+dfsg-0.1
Severity: important
Tags: wheezy
Dear Maintainer,
If you install bash-doc in debian wheezy, the command
info bash
still shows the manpage for bash, instead of the info documentation.
This bug has already been reported for debian lenny, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=427804 , but that bug
was archived without being fixed. This bug also suggested the fix of
moving the info documentation to non-free.
Could we please get the complete bash documentation back in debian? Is
it so hard to fix this simple bug, that nobody has been able to for 6 years?
Thanks,
Marcus.
