Package: debian-reference
Version: 2.50
Severity: normal

filesystem corruption offered by journaled filesystems such as ext3fs
unless their system performance is sacrificed by disabling write cache
of hard disk.

The background of this was before this 2008 article:
http://lwn.net/Articles/283161/
