Hi, 

Sorry for the very late reply. When you opened the report Wheezy was
frozen, and making changes like this was difficult.

There's a new openvpn version in wheezy-backports now (2.3.1) that no
longer includes the IPv6 patch since it's provided upstream now.  Could
you try it and confirm whether it's fixed or not?
