Package: salt Version: 0.15.1-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation?
I was using salt-minion from the salt PPA which is version 0.15.3, and everything was fine. I then tried instead to use the 0.15.1 version from the debian archive (well, a copy of the debian package) - it worked but the command I was using (salt-call) returns an incorrect exit status. http://paste.ubuntu.com/5781258/ This bug is known and fixed upstream [1] in 0.15.3, the patch is a 3 liner [2] [1] https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/4904 [2] See the salt/cli/caller.py patch *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers precise-updates APT policy: (500, 'precise-updates'), (500, 'precise-security'), (500, 'precise') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-45-virtual (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
