Hi. AFAIU, all of the A125 only have two lines with each 16 characters, right? If so, then I'd suggest that the according commands fail or at least warn, if strings with more characters are given. In a further step, one might try out which characters the A125 can print and fail/warn as well, when e.g. strange unicode chars are used, which it cannot render.
