I would actually prefer it does exit.  I got squid3 working then tried adding 
support for SSL into the config.  I would prefer it terminate rather than 
silently ignoring them.  
Could it output / stderr any config settings it will not accept...   I would 
appreciate the instant feedback.   The current problem is it looks like 
everything is working fine, so I did bother reviewing log files.

Actually, this is not a desiderable behavior for squid3 since multiple 
http_port and https_port can be enabled in configuration file and a wrong 
option should not stop all other port from working.
Maybe we could add a note in README.Debian stating that SSL is not enabled in 
this build.
