Since I'm unable to give feedparser all the love it deserves, I'm planning to remove my name from the maintainer field and let the debian-python-modules team take full control of the package. If you're OK with it, I'll apply your patch and commit it together with the maintainer field changes to the DPMT svn repo. Someone from the team will then upload the package. This process should be faster than a NMU. Of course I encourage you to join DPMT (if you aren't already a member) and keep working on feedparser. Thank you so much for your job.
