Source: uw-imap Version: 8:2007f~dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist UW IMAP development ended in 2008, but its lead developer, the late Mark Crispin, continued to work on the code on his own and made a few releases under the name "Panda IMAP." These releases contained copyright notices indicating that they remained under the Apache License 2.0, but Crispin only made them available to users who donated to him to fund future development, and for this reason they were not generally distributed.
Since Crispin's death, the final release of Panda IMAP has been posted to GitHub: https://github.com/jonabbey/panda-imap This can be considered a new upstream version of UW IMAP, though it's unclear whether any further development will be done on the package.
