There is a circular dependency between libscilab2-java, scilab-full-bin and scilab-minimal-bin: libscilab2-java :Depends: scilab-full-bin (>= 5.4.1-1) scilab-full-bin :Depends: scilab-minimal-bin (= 5.4.1-1), libscilab2-java scilab-minimal-bin :Depends: scilab-full-bin Complex circular dependencies are known to cause problems during upgrade, so we should try to get rid of them. Also it is strange that scilab-minimal-bin depends on scilab-full-bin.
