Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.4.1.1-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
Gnome-terminal’s lead developer Christian Persch tells on the linked page that Debian man’s page of the project (which is in turn used by other distributions) is outdated. In particular, he reports two developments missing from the man page: (i) the options -e and -x are now deprecated. (ii) `--' is the substitute for both of them. Can a maintainer please contact him and update the man page to reflect this (and possibly other) changes? According to changelog.Debian.gz, the man page was last updated in 2005. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=701691 <-- please ignore the lengthy first post on that page.
