You are out of luck. Upstream mixed things so much that I am dropping hplip-base. I will reconsider this again when hplip goes 1.0.0 with fax support, but for now it will be a single arch any package, plus hpijs (arch any), and the two arch-all packages hplip-ppds and hplip-data. > hplip-base description, hplip-base is all I need.
