At work we are in the process of switching from Ubuntu precise to Debian wheezy. I only just realised yesterday that this bug hadn't been fixed in Debian wheezy. Noticing the stable-NEW freeze date, I filed a bug. Until it is fixed, we'll just use a version with the patch applied to it.
