The fix was quite simple: a couple of definitions were added to work around an MSVC limitation. However, they were not placed under preprocessor guards. With a simple patch, that I have forwarded upstream, the build succeeds and all tests pass. As soon as the remaining bugs are ironed out for the other architectures, I will upload a fixed version.
