Dear Maintainers, I Just solved this an probably some other bugs like 633851:
gsettings is not found on the system because the file /etc/desktop-profiles/desktop-profiles.listing contains a very small mismatch. This line has to be modified: default-xdg_data_dirs;XDG_DATA;/usr/local/share:/usr/share;;;Default value as defined by XDG Base Directory Specification The original file contains a space instead of a colon between /usr/local/share:[<-- this colon is missing]/usr/share; Not having this colon in place results in: gsettings error because gconf does and can not find its settings or Gnome does not start (no gsettings available on system ERROR) like: gnome-session[13822] trap int3 ip:7ffba6deb491 sp:7fff228c96b0 error:0 Please reassign to package desktop-profiles! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
