I don't think it's a good idea to bundle multiarch transition with the
1.49->1.53, as that transition is already being held back by a few
issues. It might be best to apply this in experimental and transition
separately and/or do as part of next boost1.53->boost1.5x transition
which will happen during jessie cycle.

Apart from that, it looks good.

If this patch is uploaded into experimental, I can look into
rebuilding all reverse dependencies with it.
