Package: performous Version: 0.7.0-1 Severity: wishlist while there is no post-0.7 release yet, the performous authors currently recommend using git head instead of 0.7[1].
experimenting with duets, i downloaded the latest version (git 0828680) and made a tarball out of it. the only packaging modification i had to make was removing `docs/TODO.txt` from `debian/docs` as it was removed upstream. being part of the boost1.53 transition, i built against that (did not try current boost as well). i'd like to suggest uploading a 0.7.0+git$DATE-1 version to experimental. that way, the new input system and playlists are available to curious users; on the other hand, this gets the current pre-release version a little more coverage, which might help smoothing out some rough edges pre-release. as indicated by the bug version, this is just a wishlist item, a little suggestion; at least it documents that building against the current upstream state is painless.
