Package: xrdp Version: 0.5.0-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
When using xrdp together with the libpam-mklocaluser, to create a local user with a local home directory when the user log in for the first time, xrdp/sesman fail to show the message passed back from the PAM module using the PAM conversation() callback mechanism. This make users confused, as they get no feedback about why the first login fail. Please change the PAM handling to also handle messages passed back from the PAM modules. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-486 Locale: LANG=nb_NO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nb_NO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xrdp depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libpam0g 1.1.3-7.1 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1e-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0-4+deb7u1 Versions of packages xrdp recommends: ii vnc4server [vnc-server] 4.1.1+X4.3.0-37.1 xrdp suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
