hello steve,

thanks for pointing my attention to this.

since i didn't change anything in the boost linking part of the package
relative to upstream, i asked there about 1.53 compatibility, and claims
are it works everywhere else. since when were the -mt files debian
specific?

i managed to rip out most references to non-mt parts, but some parts
still resist and it might be that there is autoconfiguration from the
built cgal library. this is the first transition i have to take action
in, so please pardon my ignorance: is there an archive of packages that
were built against boost1.53 as libboost-dev? so far, i'm using
dependencies from unstable, and have used quite some force (read:
equivs) to satisfy eg. libcgal-dev's dependency on libboost-dev, and
that might easily be the cause of the failures that occurred after i
fixed the simple stuff. (i can build all the stuff myself, but that's an
efford i'd prefer not to duplicate.)

tl;dr: is there already a libcgal for libboost-dev =1.53, and where can
i find it?

best regards
chrysn
