Package: xfce4 Version: 4.10.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I made a dist-upgrade having xfce 4.8.3 (from graphical environment, though), and xfce4-session did not get upgraded to 4.10.1. Something happened.
In this situation, the Exit button was not working. This was the message in the window: method "logout" with signature "bb" on interface "org.xfce.session.manager" doesn't exist I guess that some internals have changed. I could solve the case by doing a: apt-get install --reinstall xfce4-session Perhaps if I had upgraded in a text-only environment it would have run smoothly, but being in X and xfce is very usual when upgrading xfce.... ;) -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.8-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ca_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ca_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4 depends on: ii gtk2-engines-xfce 3.0.1-2 pn orage <none> ii thunar 1.6.3-1 ii xfce4-appfinder 4.8.0-3 ii xfce4-mixer 4.10.0-2 ii xfce4-panel 4.10.1-1 ii xfce4-session 4.10.1-1 ii xfce4-settings 4.10.1-1 pn xfce4-utils <none> ii xfconf 4.10.0-2 ii xfdesktop4 4.10.2-2 ii xfwm4 4.10.1-1 Versions of packages xfce4 recommends: ii desktop-base 7.0.3 ii tango-icon-theme 0.8.90-5 ii thunar-volman 0.8.0-2 ii xfce4-notifyd 0.2.2-2 ii xorg 1:7.7+3 Versions of packages xfce4 suggests: pn xfce4-goodies <none> ii xfprint4 4.6.1-3
