This was the intended transitional package and that one actually was removed 
already, yes:
 http://packages.qa.debian.org/o/openoffice.org/news/20130516T095006Z.html.

So it should be remove from jessie soon(tm) when everything is ready (like LO 
itself)
and this bug is already fixed in something package maintainers can affect 
directly.

I think this can and should be closed.
