Urgl. I guess we may want to move the documentation to a separate arch:all package then. Any opinion?

I would fix it with sed:

find -name '*.html' -exec sed -i -e 's/<META NAME="GENERATOR"[^>]*>//' {} +

Splitting documentation into a separate package is of course more future proof that the hack above, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort.
