Package: i2c-tools Version: 3.0.3-5build1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have loaded the eeprom kernel module but decode-dimms doesn't seem to be able to find the info it needs. It looks in the /sys/bus/i2c/drivers/eeprom directory, which contains the following: total 0 --w------- 1 root root 4096 May 15 22:43 bind lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 15 22:43 module -> ../../../../module/eeprom --w------- 1 root root 4096 May 15 22:42 uevent --w------- 1 root root 4096 May 15 22:43 unbind This doesn't appear to contain what it should, because the regexp /^\d+-\d+$/ isn't matching. See http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.i2c/9116 for an explanation. (Also tried decode-dimms from i2c-tools v3.0.2-5 .) -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers precise-updates APT policy: (500, 'precise-updates'), (500, 'precise-security'), (500, 'precise') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-32-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages i2c-tools depends on: ii adduser 3.113ubuntu2 ii libc6 2.15-0ubuntu10.4 ii makedev 2.3.1-89ubuntu2 ii perl 5.14.2-6ubuntu2.3 ii udev 175-0ubuntu9.3 i2c-tools recommends no packages.
