Package: sdparm Version: 1.07-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
As part of our standard operating procedures when managing disk related issues, we make use of the sas_disk_blink script that was originally provided as part of the sg3-utils package. The script was removed from the squeeze version of sg3-utils, and a little digging uncovered an unfortunate timing/versioning issue in that while sas_disk_blink was removed from sg3-utils as of version 1.28 (squeeze has version 1.29) and was moved to the sdparm package as of version 1.04 (unfortunately, squeeze has 1.02, which leaves sas_disk_blink in a squeeze limbo). I noticed that the "scripts" directory doesn't get included in the package, and thought that it's omission may be a packaging bug. I'm not familiar with building cdbs based packages, so I won't confuse matters by trying to supply a patch. Is there any chance that sas_disk_blink could be included in a future update? Cheers.
