To be honest, currently I expect some obscure changes at twitter to be responsible for this mess. > Could you mabe try with a newer version, i.e. 032-1 (in stable, > testing, and unstable at the moment). > (I don't have a twitter account, so I can't check it easily myself.) > > And maybe you could paste the --debug output even if it doesn't look > that interesting at first glance. Here we go: $ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 (wheezy) Release: 7.0 Codename: wheezy $ bti --version bti - version 032 $ bti --verbose --debug bti: session_readline_init: Using libreadline.so.6 for readline library bti - version 032 here is the content of the .bti config: ---<~/.bti>--- # Consumer key consumer_key=cZy8DdioswAfu3LJYg6E2w # Consumer secret consumer_secret=fnIGGU0T12mMWKjmThUdSeKN32NLWfmnwapwubVQ ### user config host=twitter username=nickiukra password='XXXXXXXXXX' logfile=data/bti.log ------- The logfile (data/bti.log) is empty. If there is a access error on the twitter API I would expect some sort of error message or at least a warning or something. That is all I have, and all I see. If I can provide you with some more information please drop me a line. Don't know if I already meantioned it, but a previously registered account works fine with bti.
