I stumbled over this on upgrade to wheezy. If /etc/cron.daily/amavisd-new
was delivered by the package and has not been modified (likely to be true in virtually all cases), then it is indeed the responsibility of the package to get rid of it on upgrade if the content has moved to /etc/cron.d ... I have, of course, deleted the crufty file. But making every user of amavisd-new have to stumble over this and figure it out just isn't nice. Bdale
