What is displayed depends on what was displayed before hitting the [End] key. Moving the mouse may be sufficient to make the black background appear. I had been reading this page from time to time since 2013-04-25, but this rendering problem didn't appear until now. The cause seems to be new comments on the page, which needs to be large enough to make the problem appear. There was a recent cairo upgrade from 1.12.2-3 to 1.12.14-2, and xorg upgrade from 7.7+2 to 7.7+3, but downgrading all the corresponding binary packages and restarting Iceweasel doesn't make the problem disappear. Downgrading the kernel doesn't change anything either.
