Package: vim-vimoutliner Version: 0.3.4+pristine-9 Severity: normal Colors don't seem to work either out of the box or with some tweaks. I am running in a KDE Konsole, though xterm showed the same results.
This is at least a two-part problem. 1) No colors after default install. The documentation seems to imply (it's a bit ambiguous) that vo_light is the default color scheme: " You can select from any of the provided schemes. Vim Outliner internally includes a scheme the matches vo_light.vim. " (from vo-color help topic). I see no coloring after a fresh install. 2) No way to turn colors on. Enabling colorscheme vo_light (or vo_dark), in ~/.vimoutlinerrc has only minimal effects. The nesting indicators in the first column and collapsed headings now appear in cyan (I think: a light blue). Whatever is causing 2) may also be leading to 1), so there may be a single underlying problem. Possibly related to 603115 about additional configuration being necessary. Possibly related to 507342 about color problems, although it seems in that report color schemes were working, just without the desired default scheme. I tried executing :colorscheme vo_light while editing the .otl file, as suggested in that bug. It didn't help. Konsole is running white text on black background; xterm has black text on white background. In either one, vim and vimoutliner preserved the terminal's coloring. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages vim-vimoutliner depends on: ii libpalm-perl 1:1.012-1 ii libxml-writer-perl 0.615-1 ii perl 5.14.2-21 ii python 2.7.3-4 ii vim 2:7.3.547-7 Versions of packages vim-vimoutliner recommends: ii vim-addon-manager 0.5.2 vim-vimoutliner suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
