Package: remmina-plugin-rdp
Version: 1.0.0-4+deb7u1
Severity: important

Hi Luca and others involved in packaging / maintaining Remmina,

There appears to be a slight regression with the latest version of
Remmina, and more specifically with the remmina-plugin-rdp package.

After updating Remmina and associated plugin packages from the
version shipped with Debian Squeeze (0.8.3-1), to the version
included in Wheezy (1.0.0-5), some window areas in RDP sessions
appear to not be redrawn sufficiently frequently. This leads to poor
readability in many applications that do not explicitly call for RDP
redraws. Beyond this, RDP functionality (connecting, authenticating,
etc.) is not affected.

I have experienced this behaviour when connecting to MS Windows
Server 2008 and 2008r2 remote desktops, but do not seem to be able to
replicate when connecting to servers running xrdp software. I have not
tested this thoroughly with any other versions of RDP software.

This issue can be reproduced readily on two different workstations
running this version of Remmina, and I am able to provide screenshots
of these issues - please contact me for more details.

Thank you!
