Without the simplehal backend, wmbattery is useless unless you have a /proc/apm. So, the quality of the Ubuntu patch speaks for itself, certianly.. What really needs to be done, is convert it to whatever power management thing will be around for at least 2 years before being replaced by some new power management thing. :P -- see shy jo
