close 706473 thanks Ok, I just successfully installed wine-bin:i386 only a freshly installed Debian Wheezy/amd64 using the following method:
dpkg --add-architecture i386 apt-get update apt-get install wine-bin:i386 No conflicts and no non-installable packages were reported. I furthermore made sure all the dependencies wine pulled in with arch=i386 were also installable at the same time with arch=amd64 (except for all the *wine* packages and libc-i686 which are not available in the amd64 archives). And, again, there were no dependency problems or packages that could not be installed. It's therefore safe to close this bug. Cheers, Adrian -- .''`.
