Not exactly. libgraphicsmagick3 just seems to handle an abort-signal triggered by libxine2. The problem happens in libxine2, when a pointer gets freed. This indicates that this pointer somehow became invalid before. When I look in the libxine code, then I see that there are functions with different implementations depending on the CPU type. This might explain why it works for me, but not for you. But I haven't been able to figure out yet, where the problem is happening. Please try displaying the image that does not work with xine directly: xine produces_the_crash_3999_IMG.JPG And please also provide the output of `cat /proc/cpuinfo` Tobias
