Package: libpam-modules
Version: 1.1.1-6.1+squeeze1
Severity: normal
File: /etc/security/time.conf

I have tried to make restrictions in the computer usage of myself and my
spouse.
But when I for instance set time restrictions from 00:00 hour till 08:00 in the
morning
it does successfully block login on gdm3 but
I cannot login again after 08:00 in the morning.

I did the following to the configuration:

I added to

/etc/security/time.conf

*;*;*;Al0000-0800

I have added the to the bottom of

/etc/gdm3

account required pam_time.so

in /etc/pam.d/common-session
I removed nox11 behind this statement

session optional pam_ck_connector.so

and added the following statement directly above it:

session required pam_loginuid.so

Because some website recommended it and I was desperate for a solution.

But still I cannot login after 08:00 in the morning,
so this renders the usage of time.conf useless.

I am running Debian squeeze at the moment
and since this is stable it might be a big problem (for time restrictions).
I do not know if this is a personal problem, a Debian specific or a broader
problem.
I suspect it to be in the code,
I found a website mentioning this problem after hours of Google search by
chance
that mentioned the code but I cannot retrieve it
Oh and both our computers have this problem,
both running Debian squeeze

If I make any language mistakes,
please forgive me for English is not my native speech

Kind regards

Sietze van de Burgt
