Package: gnus Version: 5.10.6-1.NO.20051020-1 Severity: normal This lates version of gnus has trouble on my setup. I'm getting Unknown charset: iso-8859-2 Unknown charset: iso-8859-1 error messages, and also headers in emails are not decoded and look like: =?iso-8859-2?Q?Pero_Peri=E6?=
The only configuration line that I see that could have influence on this problem is (setq message-default-charset 'iso-8859-2) in init.el. But it has been working well on my (xemacs-nomule) for a long time. Reverting to the previous version of gnus (5.10.6-1.NO.20050814-1) corrects the problem, and everything is working properly again. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-rc4 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=hr_HR (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages gnus depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.58 Debian configuration management sy ii make 3.80-11 The GNU version of the "make" util ii ucf 2.003 Update Configuration File: preserv ii xemacs21 21.4.17-2 highly customizable text editor ii xemacs21-nomule [xemacs21] 21.4.17-2 highly customizable text editor -- gnus recommends no packages. -- debconf information: gnus/upgrade/pre_5.9.0: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
