META.yml requires SQL::Abstract, and grepping through the code this seems like a valid claim (it's use'd in DBIx::Class::SQLMaker which is use'd in quite some other modules). So for me Recommends sounds about right -- usually you would want libsql-translator-perl installed, and if not you can always (uninstall it|turn off Recommends). Cheers, gregor -- .''`.
