Following the example of other translated man page packages (i.e. manpages-fr, manpages-de), man pages for applications should not be included and, where currently provided, should instead be contributed to application packaging. There are many in manpages-it. At least these need to be removed, to cede the space to apt: /usr/share/man/it/man5/sources.list.5.gz /usr/share/man/it/man8/apt-cdrom.8.gz Also I see dpkg, gnumeric, dselect, bash, and many more which should be dropped or moved to their respective application packaging.
