teTeX does not contain any TrueType fonts (and using them still requires
some manual work).

Without checking, I'd say a typical Debian build today uses mf versions
of the CM fonts, Bluesky fonts (CM in Type1 format and OT1 encoding)
and/or the PSNFSS fonts (basic PS fonts) in Type1 format, maybe plus
some small symbol fonts.  EC fonts should be included, too, for
translations to western european languages.  All the antt, antp, gothic,
concrete, cmbright, xypic, lucida, etc.pp. are not needed.
