Using the "Export to PDF" feature gives very low-resolution output, and the resolution does not seem to be configurable. This is especially annoying when attempting to re-export an annotated PDF --- the original PDF looks great, the annotated PDF looks great on my screen, and then I export that output to PDF and it looks terrible. I generally get around the problem by choosing "Print" instead and selecting the PDF device provided by CUPS. This allows me to configure a semi-reasonable output resolution. But it's not clear to me why the "Export to PDF" isn't just outputting vector graphics, especially when I'm annotating an existing PDF. - Anne - -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.7.9 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xournal depends on: ii ghostscript-x 9.05~dfsg-6.3 ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.21-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-3 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-5 ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.30.3-1.2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libpoppler-glib8 0.18.4-5 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 xournal recommends no packages. xournal suggests no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAlFUu6oACgkQwi82URPCSX7MXQCfYpSofeeKLqwLWI1RdX0ozpQj RbIAn06KZuw5xWxiNIaI10o5wr7a1R+i =ACwv -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
