Can you please append the output of the backtrace? Maybe you have
forgotten this.

This will showing the status of the relevant variables. And please start
without any extensions ("--safe-mode"). The extension produces a lot
messages that are mor confusing then helping.

The log and the strace log is unfortunately not showing any
abnormalitys.
In first I would say Icedove has problems with the doubled hyphen in
your domain name, but that's just a feeling. :/
