Please get a backtrace with G_DEBUG=fatal-warnings set and libgtk-3-0-dbg libglib2.0-0-dbg installed. You may also need to rebuild cheese with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip if the backtrace isn't very useful.
