That's lovely.  I haven't even seen this bugreport and this discussion
before now.

This message #17 mentions "few "feature fixes"", which is completely
wrong -- all these are real fixes for serious enough problems.

I can only guess by "feature fixes" Adam meant the grep -w thing.
It is not a "feature fix", it is a bugfix for incorrectly working
grep -w, which already lead to a costly bughunting in another
place which relied on correctly implemented grep -w.  This has
nothing to do at all with the freeze.

The CVE-2013-1813 fix is indeed not really interesting (even while
the fix is rather stright-forward, it isn't exactly a one-liner and
is somewhat ugly) -- I thought we'd fix the CVE anyway, since this
is a very specific subsystem and does not affect anything else.

But the rest really should go to wheezy.
