This surprised me a bit, as I orphaned bup a while ago and it was picked up by someone else, who has already made an upload removing me from the Maintainer field. It took me a moment to realise that their upload would have been to experimental, and your NMU is targetting wheezy via unstable. Still, it would have been a good opportunity to switch out the Maintainer for wheezy.
