For sometime now checkgmail has failed to work reporting "Error 200". It will work with the no cookies option enabled but loses a lot of its functionality with this option enabled. In order to get it working again /usr/bin/checkgmail needs to be edited and every instance of "https://www.google.com/accounts/"; needs to be replaced with "https://accounts.google.com/";.
