Please unblock package clamav In keeping with the insanity that is clamav, there is another new clamav release which both has security fixes and increases the funcitonality level so that the old clamav will not be able to use all the new virus sigatures. For these reasons, I think that updating clamav to the new upstream is the least horrible thing to do. I'll also be proposing it as an update for Stable as well (as we've been doing). There doesn't appear to be a lot of information on exactly what the security fixes were. They appear to be related to: https://bugzilla.clamav.net/show_bug.cgi?id=6804 https://bugzilla.clamav.net/show_bug.cgi?id=6805 Bug #6805, in the text, claims not to apply, but it is mentioned in the git log for the 0.97 branch, so I'm not sure. I'll attach the debdiff in a follow-up so this makes it to the release team list. I'll attach the full, unexpergated, debdiff and a smaller one that has the noise removed.
