Package: virt-manager Version: 0.9.1-4 Severity: normal I have several virtual machines running which I want to control via VMM, however these VMs or normally running and have a Spice connection from another computer/viewer (e.g. virt-viewer), and when I attempt to use VMM on the host to view or change VM details VMM grabs the Spice display away from the other viewer, even if I select Edit|View VM Details, and do not touch the viewer in VMM.
This makes using VMM to control VMs without using VMM as the viewer rather difficult (and I want users to be able to use the VM without having the access required to use VMM - e.g. r/w access on the control socket). They are separate functions, and should be independently available. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages virt-manager depends on: ii gconf2 3.2.5-1+build1 ii librsvg2-common 2.36.1-1 ii python 2.7.3-4 ii python-dbus 1.1.1-1 ii python-glade2 2.24.0-3+b1 ii python-gnome2 2.28.1+dfsg-1 ii python-gtk-vnc 0.5.0-3.1 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-3+b1 ii python-ipy 1:0.75-1 ii python-libvirt 0.9.12-11 ii python-spice-client-gtk 0.12-5 ii python-support 1.0.15 ii python-urlgrabber 3.9.1-4 ii python-vte 1:0.28.2-5 ii virtinst 0.600.1-3 Versions of packages virt-manager recommends: ii gnome-icon-theme 3.4.0-2 ii libvirt-bin 0.9.12-11 Versions of packages virt-manager suggests: ii gnome-keyring 3.4.1-5 pn hal <none> pn python-gnomekeyring <none> pn python-guestfs <none> ii ssh-askpass 1:1.2.4.1-9 ii virt-viewer 0.5.3-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
