Dear QA Team, There is no upstream for this package anymore. The closest thing to an upstream I could find was this notice[1] that libmpdclient2 is discontinued in favour of python-mpd as already packaged in Debian. The latter package already has more uses, so at the time of this writing there are only pygmy and lastmp as reverse dependencies left. Once these have been moved over to python-mpd, this bug should be retitled to "RM: py-libmpdclient -- RoQa; orphaned; abandoned-upstream" and reassigned to ftp.debian.org.
