Package: python-numpy Version: 1:1.7.0-1 Severity: normal forwarded from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-numpy/+bug/1154434:
Neither the 'python-numpy' nor 'python-numpy-doc' package contains a file called 'numpy.i', required for writing NumPy compatible C-code-based Python extensions/modules. According to the documentation, this file is supposed to be included in docs/numpy/numpy.i, but it clearly hasn't been flagged for inclusion in the Deb packages. http://docs.scipy.org/doc/numpy/reference/swig.interface-file.html I recently filed a bug in scipy to synchronize their numpy.i with numpys, as they have diverged quite a lot: http://projects.scipy.org/scipy/ticket/1825 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
