Hi Roland, Thank you for your bug report.
I'm taking over maintenance of this package, and a new version of it is available at http://mentors.debian.net/package/sfst (for which I'm still looking for a sponsor). Applying your patch breaks the build process on my machine. With the patch, some branches of the if-then-else structure around the patched lines (specifically "if test x$ARCH = xi686" and "if test x$ARCH = xx86_64") seem to be skipped, although I can't see the reason why. Could you please verify that you can build sfst (version 1.4.6g-1 provided at the URL above) with your patch, and that the generated 'configure' file contains the condition "if test x$ARCH = xi686"? best wishes, Rico -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers precise-updates APT policy: (500, 'precise-updates'), (500, 'precise-security'), (500, 'precise'), (100, 'precise-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) autoreconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.68 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
