Package: splitvt Version: 1.6.6-11 Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

I am using the irc client uii, a shell script that has a pager and a
readline prompt managed by splitvt. uii sets the window title using
splitvt's “-t” option. When exiting splitvt, the window title is set to
“TRING) = "xterm”. starting uii and exiting it again, the window title
is set to “TRING) = "TRING) = \"xterm”. starting uii and exiting it
again, the window title is set to “TRING) = "TRING) = \"TRING =
\\\"xterm”. I did expect splitvt to set the window title back to
„/bin/zsh“, which is what it was before.

The terminal I am using is terminator. Using xfce4-terminal the
corruption starts with the string “TRING) = "Terminal”. Using xterm, no
corruption happens – splitvt fails to update the window title at all.

uii can be found at <https://github.com/erlehmann/uii>.
