Package: splitvt Version: 1.6.6-11 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, I am using the irc client uii, a shell script that has a pager and a readline prompt managed by splitvt. uii sets the window title using splitvt's “-t” option. When exiting splitvt, the window title is set to “TRING) = "xterm”. starting uii and exiting it again, the window title is set to “TRING) = "TRING) = \"xterm”. starting uii and exiting it again, the window title is set to “TRING) = "TRING) = \"TRING = \\\"xterm”. I did expect splitvt to set the window title back to „/bin/zsh“, which is what it was before.
The terminal I am using is terminator. Using xfce4-terminal the corruption starts with the string “TRING) = "Terminal”. Using xterm, no corruption happens – splitvt fails to update the window title at all. uii can be found at <https://github.com/erlehmann/uii>. *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages splitvt depends on: ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 splitvt recommends no packages. splitvt suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
